Blogs in Education

Blogs can be used in a variety of ways in education. Principals or superintendents can use blogs to show what is happening in their building or across a school district. Just add a few pictures and a small description and you have an online newsletter that can be linked to your district website for parents and students to access. Feedback can also be collected on an ongoing basis using this tool. It is important to note that when posting pictures of students that permission for publication of a student's image is on file. This is also a great tool for the classroom that can easily be accessed from home.
